I'll update the first post about my ride, mods and pics (soon)

Update: I've got my ride...

Mods:
- AT Tyres (Bridgestone 694 AT 265/70R16) - Done
- 16 inch rims (Taiwan) offset - Done
- Front airdam (from ORE) - Done
- Rear airdam (from ORE) - Done
- Spoiler (from ORE) - Done
- LED side mirror (Original Mitsu - Done
- Scuff plates (Original Mitsu - Done
- Llumar tinting - Titanium 8-20 or 8-35 8mil charcoal - Done
- Rear space redesign (converted 5 seater) - Done
- MB Quart component speakers (Front) - Done
- VOZ Audio 10" active subwoofer - Done
- STP Soundproofing front doors - Done

- Roof rack

Finally i got my ride. But KL so damn jam today. Took 2.5 hours to drive from ORE to Puchong. Had some delays at JPJ too so only reach ORE at 530pm so just managed to change my rim and tyres. Other mods have to go again next week....

Haha thanks. Have not taken any pics. Just finish Meguirs polishing and nano yesterday. Monday still have to go tinting and ORE again for bodykits. Will post after complete

yeah normally at showroom they wash with detergent and some wax with some cheap stuff. I went to meguirs to do 3 step wahs, polish, wax (but instead of wax i used Rain Away)

Suggest you do the same can use any product but recommend use some kind of wax (carnuba wax). it will help to protect ur paint.


Mods Done today
- Removed Last Row seats and replaced with thick carpeting.
- MB Quartz component speakers to replace front ori speakers which was really bad. When they pass it to me it was made of the el cheapo black paper type
- 10 inch active subwoofer installed under passenger seat...

now my sound is sooo much better than ori

ok updated my ride pics and mods above

Updated roof rail and Thule crossbar. This is for mounting cargo box later. A bit expensive and havent decided which box i want. Probably Pacific 100 or 200.

how much u trade-in ur ori 265/65/17 bridgestone HT tires? and how much ur 16inch rims and tires cost u now?
i m thinking to change my tires and rims too...

if i recall correctly they took my original rims + HT tyres for RM 1500. Or RM 800 for 4 tyres only. I wanted AT tyres but if i took 17 inch AT they would cost maybe around RM 7xx. SO i downgraded to 16 inch. At tyres then cost about Rm 4xx which is more sustainable (for me) aha.

I guess depend you want to take it offroad or mod it offroad style (smaller rim, AT or MT tyres, snokel etc) or street tune style (big rims, low profile tyres)?

thanks for the infor. i personally think this kind of car shld use more rugged tires. at least AT tires with white wording at the side of tire. hehehhee... how much ur rims? brand?

Yea depends on individual i guess. Some people like the street look. Some ppl like he offroad look. The AT tyre will make some noise compared to HT, but not as much as MT.

I take it offroad (light to medium trail) so i used AT tyres. The white wording is up to you. Basically one side of the tyre is painted white, and the other is not. So depending on what you want they will just flip the tyre

my rims just taiwan rims. i cant remember how much below 2K. I think any rim will do as long u like the design since we using high profile tyre.. it wont damage much unless u going street style and low profile

I think Llumar is better but choice is yours i did 8 mil. The setup is 8 mil on all side except front and rear... for safety... bomba requirement. If you get caught inside fireman hard to get you out.
The front n rear i believe is 4 mil only or 3m but Llumar film. 8 mil at the side is good to delay smash n grab.

in JB, magnum 8mil the best i ask for camry rm2500. included side and rear 8mil and front windscreen unknow.

Its a bit difficult to take the pic cos it just fits right under the passenger seat.
The original speakers are very bad. I change to MB Quartz.

With regards to warranty basically anything you do voids the warranty. But my exp from MMM service center is that if its not directly causing the problem you can take it out b4 you go service/claim warranty.

Yep u can call Kelvin. I forgot the price la.. done on batch.. 16xx cos i didnt take the rear garnish. only 4 airdam + spoiler. do not the color may vary slightly from ur car body though.
