Wow just like what i have on my Landrover Defender 110

azmi, can you share of your experience installing in vehicle unit for the GPS System. i check in ebay and some of them are selling around $200 us. how was the installation? did you had any issues? how about the map updates? can use the malfreemaps.com? i use it for my garmin map updates? thanks. hope i can meet some of you guys outthere.but i am in JB.

The GPS install was easy. Just bring to any capable/reputable accessories shop and they should be able to do it, esp if they are dealer for kenwood. its a standard plug and play item for our headunit.

the most difficult part would be to go to sirim for type approval. i went to sirim in shah alam.

yes, you can use any of malsingmaps or malfreemaps. Just copy in /garmin/gmapsupp.img and you are all set.

i put the box accessible so its easy for me to update the map. will post some pictures later.

i love your defender, more than ur PS or mine haha... i'm actually (trying) to save up to get one for offroading (PS can only go light n easy haha). What tyres r u using? cantik.

The tyre is Sime Tyre Extreme Trekker II 35".
